v1
Adds the Swarm, led by the Queen of Blades, to the game.

IMPORTANT: This mod edits Unit Builds and is affected by a bug the game has - unit commands will not show correctly. To prevent this you have to return to the mod selection screen after the game has configured the game files (just hit escape) once after launching the game - it will then work for the rest of the session. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that - it's a bug that Firaxis has to fix.
The Swarm
The probably-not-quite-canon Swarm is an aggressive, early-game-focused Civilization. It excels in overwhelming Enemies early on and has great Recon-Abilities. 3 unique Buildings - all coming with a Broodmother - make sure that the Swarm grows to glory. The Sponsor works on its own, but is designed and balanced to be used with the Rest of the Awesome Collection (or at least with Awesome Sponsors), it will feel overpowered when used with vanilla Sponsors.
The Bonuses
Zergling
Zerglings (14 Attack) periodically spawn for free during the earlier part of the game - a total of 10 Units in 100 turns (scaling with game speed). Zerglings don't cost any maintenance.

Overlord
Slow, sloooow (1 Movement) hovering Unit with fantastic Vision sight, but can't attack. A great tool to oversee big areas and cover the borders of your hopefully sprawling empire from a save distance. Overlords don't cost Maintenance. A midgame-building increases their Movement Speed by +2, making them a great recon-unit even far outside of your own territory.

Unique Infrastructure
3 unique Buildings are available:

Spawning Pool
- Replaces Ultrasonic Fence
- 1 Broodmother Specialist
- Prevents aliens from entering within 2 tiles of your Cities
- Spawns a Zergling when completed

Larvae Hatchery
- Replaces Mass Digester
- 1 Broodmother Specialist
- +2 Food
- Overlords gain +2 Movement (multiple buildings don't stack)

Changeling Broodchamber
- Replaces the Spy Agency (unique)
- 2 Broodmother Specialists
- Changelings act as spies for the Swarm

None of these have building quests (at the moment)!

"...but Ryika, what the hell are Broodmother Specialists?!"

Yeah, yeah.

Broodmother Specialist:
- Yields +5 Food

...now that was disappointing, wasn't it? :P

Anyway!
The Downsides
It's probably not obvious at first, but there is quite a big downside to this sponsor - it loses the Ultrasonic Fence Quest. :( And must therefore manually protect their Trade Routes. Which is doable - after all, you get all those free Zerglings!

Another downside is that, compared to the other Sponsors in the Awesome Collection, their industrial and empire-enhancing abilities are relatively weak. Their overall success is greatly dependent on how good they use their strong early game advantage.
AI Abilities and Inabilities
The AI plays this sponsor quite well, it does construct the unique buildings and will use the Zerglings. It does NOT produce Overlords however, because the AI seems to be incapable of understanding what it means that a Unit "can't attack".

AI-Behavior (Hidden for those who don't want spoilers, mouseover to make visible):
Aggressive - obviously. Will also try to mass-expand if it has the space to do so. Low emphasis on Growth and Tile Improvements.
