• Collect the gold. This appears more frequently on the higher platforms
• Hitting spikes will lose you all of your unbanked gold
• Hit the green safe to bank all your gold to prevent it from being lost and to earn continuous bonuses on it. The safes appear only on the lower platforms
• Watch out for springs to help you reach higher platforms (or catapult you into spikes!)

• Jump: LMB, any gamepad button or gamepad up or down (hold for higher jump)
• Move left: Keyboard/gamepad/mouse left (using keyboard/gamepad will disable the mouse movement)
• Move right: Keyboard/gamepad/mouse right

Gold pieces are worth more the higher they are. The larger pieces are worth 20 times the value of the smaller ones. When you bank your gold you get a rather generous bonus rate, which is shown under your score. Basically the quicker you bank your gold the more it will end up scoring you.
