This map is part of an episode containing the following levels listed in their correct order:

1.) TS_1_HOTEL.MAP
2.) TS_2_UNDERGROUND.MAP
3.) TS_3_TOWN.MAP
4.) TS_4_SPACESTATION.MAP
5.) TS_5_CANYON.MAP

Ive created these maps in the late 1990s after I bought a DN3D CD on a garage sale. Therefore you might encounter unexpected problems using the new STEAM version of this game.

I hope you enjoy these single player maps!



Walkthrough:

The level design is not very logical and it can be hard to find a way to the exit button. You can use the cheat dnshowmap to show the entire map which might help. The following walkthrough gives you some additional hints.

1.) HOTEL_1.MAP

Duke starts in his hotel room. Youll have to pick up the blue chip card first. Its located on top of the fire truck close to the hotels side entrance. Go to the hotels main entrance and enter this building once again. Theres a security room on the left side right after the main entrance. Its window is protected by a force field. Shoot the sign next to the force field, its a hologram with a ventilator on the other side. Enter the security room through this hidden ventilation duct. Here you can use the blue chip card to switch off a force field within the office of the hotel manager.
Within this office youll find a red chip card. Pick up this chip card and leave the hotel. Theres another building with a weapon shop in it. Enter this shop and use the red chip card.
A hidden depot with a yellow chip card will open close to you. You only have a few seconds to grab this chip card. Leave the building and shoot the only gully on the street located at a corner close to the shop. Now you have to dive to enter the sewers. Youll find the exit button there which is protected by a force field. You can switch off the force field with the yellow chip card.

2.) UNDER_1.MAP

Duke starts in a sewer which leads to a collecting pond full of green and toxic water. Take the sewer on the left side, opposite of the collecting ponds exit. Turn right on the second crossroad and then turn left after the first crossroad (2nd left sewer). Pass the waterfall and pick up the yellow chip card at the end of this sewer. Go back to the collecting pond and follow its bigger exit sewer to a door. Unlock this door using the yellow chip card.
Follow the green and toxic water until you find a pool with waves. Pick up the red chip card there. Search for the exit of this underground sewage plant and use the subway to continue. (You probably have to push the button twice to call the subway.) Unlock the door with the red chip card to enter the second subway.
This one will lead to some sort of power plant. Youll find an airlock there. After passing the airlock youll see two security doors. Open the left one and enter the warehouse. Theres a small room with a button matrix and a screen on the left side. Shoot the buttons as shown on the screen. Go back to the airlock. On the other side you will encounter a door on the left which is now open. Enter this control room and push the button. Once again you have to go through the airlock. Open the security door on the right side. Shoot the 4 buttons  to open the next door (1010). Enter the left room at the end of the floor and push both buttons. There are two doors open on the opposite side of the floor. The first one leads to lava pool with a platform on the other side of the room. Climb this platform and push the button. Go back to the floor and enter the room with the second open door on the same side. Turn right and push the button. Leave this room and enter the huge silo on the other side of the floor. Activate the bridge and enter the second silo where you have to pick up the blue chip card. Exit the power plant and use the subway to go back to the central subway station. Use the elevator and then the blue chip card to get to the exit button.

3.) TOWN_1.MAP

Duke starts in an elevator. Leave the building and enter the streets. Close to the fire truck theres a quake site sign on the opposite side of the street. Walk through the lawn close to this sign to trigger an earthquake. Search for a burning police car and a container close to it. Pick up the red chip card from the container. Go back to the fire truck and turn left. Theres a push button lying on the ground of this small alley. Jump on it to blast the building in front of you. Climb the fence and follow the new way to a park. Dive under the wooden bridge to collect the yellow chip card.
Go back to the fire truck and turn left. Unlock the door and enter the shopping mall using the yellow chip card. Dive into the fountain to pick up the blue chip card.
Open the door of the EDF office using the red chip card. Go to the desk and unlock a hidden console (close to the space shuttle image) with the blue chip card. Push the Central Command button and go to the next waterfall on the right side. Use the Shrinker to enter a really small tunnel hidden behind this waterfall. Theres a transport station on the opposite side. One of the transporters will beam you up to the exit button.

4.) ALL_1.MAP

Duke starts in a transporter room. Leave this room and turn right. Go straightforward and follow this floor until you enter some sort of meeting room. Leave this room on the opposite side. Once again go straightforward. You will immediately pass a second door. Turn right (you can see the access button for the red chip card) and then open the next door on the left side. Go to the very end of this floor and then turn around. The third door on the right side leads to a room where you have to pick up the yellow chip card.
Go back to the meeting room and leave this room using the left door. This floor will lead to the command bridge but you just have to go to the Armory on the left side. Unlock the door with the yellow chip card and pick up the red one.
Go back to the access button for the red chip card and unlock the door. Pick up the blue chip card and use the transporter to enter some sort of shuttle. Use the blue chip card to start the shuttle  it will fly to the exit button.

5.) TEMPEL_1.MAP

Duke starts in a space ship. Use the transporter to enter a labyrinth with a lot of caves and a huge canyon. There are a lot of hidden passages where you have to push or blast a rock first. I suggest to use the cheat dnshowmap because its hard to explain where to go. You have to search for a huge waterfall with alien textures on both sides. Behind this waterfall is a cave with the typical green alien texture. Blast the wall to enter a passage to some sort of temple.
This temple contains a lava cross turned upside down. The lava is just a hologram which hides a lava room containing a black column. This is a transporter to an alien space station.
You might be able to find an exit button there but Im not sure if it really exists. This was my first level and Ive probably forgotten this little detail.

3D Realms - Duke Nukem 3d (you can use the original game, a source port or the STEAM version)

Bugs:
- Its not really a bug but the height of some floors, rooms, doors, etc. doesnt fit to the size of the actors. As a result Duke and his enemies look like children.
- Some textures might be displayed with a wrong size and tiling.
- UNDER_1.MAP: The second part of this map has an air lock. Sometimes the game crashes after passing this air lock.
- TEMPEL_1.MAP: I cannot find the exit button anymore :-( Well, this was my first level and Im not sure if theres an exit button at all.
