The mod uses the corrupted lands tiles in the game, plus new (recolored) sprites for swamps, hills, and many fixtures. It has new biome entries to generate a fully fledged level with plenty of variety of terrain and locations.

Most of the effort I've spent has been on creating "corrupted" versions (i.e. recolors) of existing assets to work with the new map, rather than creating genuinely new events and locations. For the most part, the new content should feel consistent with the base game and won't break immersion, but there are some shortcuts I've taken - particularly the zombie village behaving exactly like a normal village - that would definitely benefit from a bit more creativity.

NOTE: reloading a game in progress will cause many of the location sprites to revert to their normal (green) versions, which will look odd. I'm looking into this, but believe it's a bug in the base game that I can reproduce on arctic terrain. So, try to finish levels without closing the game, or you'll have to deal with ugly map sprites.

Feedback welcome!

v1.1 changes

 - Corrupted Lands maps show up from world 4 - avoiding the starter quests that were nonsensical for corrupted lands. Use debug mode if you want to see the maps quickly.

 - Added bespoke events for the zombie village - so no more BS about abominations asking you questions about the meaning of life or flirting with your companions while you bed down next to them. Fairly basic, but rather than behaving as a normal village, you can distract the abominations with raw meat to either capture one for the party, raid the village for supplies or find shelter.

 - Heavily nerfed fumaroles so that they're now an annoyance to be avoided rather than a random death sentence for straying too close. They do non-stacking sanity damage and inflict minor poisoning rather than doing mass party health damage. Further, they don't move, and spawn right on top of fumeroles, making them more predictable.

 - Wildlife events are now appropriate, so shipwrecks, elephant graveyards et al will now spawn corrupted lands monsters.
